Parks

Photo of shaded benches on a quiet morning in Marquette Park The southwest side of Chicago is home to numerous parks, including Marquette Park – one of City’s jewels. At more than 300 acres, Marquette Park includes a golf course on two islands surrounded by lagoons, indoor and outdoor gyms, swimming and wading pools, a children's playground, formal gardens, and a concert grove.

For those days when a bit of quiet time sitting under a shady tree is all you need, try any our area’s parks. There’s something for everyone!
