What is a purchasing pool?
A purchasing pool is a collection of businesses/residences/organizations who come together to negotiate a cheaper wholesale price. GSDC is organizing the purchasing pool and partnering with Payment Alliance International, Common Area Maintenance Solutions and Power2Switch to help you save money.

Who is involved?
GSDC has partnered with 3 companies for the purchasing pool. You can opt-in on any or all of the companies to take advantage of buying power:

  • Save on Energy Bills with Power2Switch, a registered energy broker and consulktant in Illinois.
  • Save on Credit Card Processing Fees with Payment Alliance International, a company that makes credit card payments easier and more reliable.
  • Save on Waste Disposal Fees with Common Area Maintenance Solutions, a compnay that offers maintenance servcies to commercial and municipal businesses.
  • How does being in a purchasing pool affect current service practices?
    Nothing will change in terms of delivery, billing or emergency assistance. Members will receive a single bill from each respective energy, waste and credit card compoany, and will contact the company for service issiues. The only change is the charge on your electric bills, trash bills, and credit card processing bills.
